During the exhibition Double Nature, the upper floor of Virserum Art Hall is filled with the large-scale textile sculptures of artist Diana Orving. In her artistic practice, Orving works primarily with abstraction, exploring themes such as origin, the collective, and the self.
Her ultimate aim is to bring dead material back to life — to breathe a new spirit into it, along with a part of herself. Through careful choreography she captures movement, allowing it to pause and remain suspended, frozen in a single moment.
