Wood Summit Småland 2019
Welcome to Wood Summit Småland, an event that Virserum Konsthall arranges every third year. This year the summit is ONE day – June 27. Wood Summit Småland takes place in connection to the opening of the exhibition Architecture of Necessity in which projects from the international competition with the same name are exhibited. The winning projects will be presented by the architects during the day. Several interesting talks will be given and other speakers talk on the theme of the competition 2019.
The jury stated the theme as follows:
”Considering the most pressing issues of today the jury would especially love to see entries that deal with the rural context – reactivation of forgotten places both with transformation of existing buildings and with new typologies, for example combining living, work and ’freespace’. ”
